Biography

Mr. Daniel Dietz received his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Education and his Master of Education in Social Studies Education from SUNY at Buffalo. Before arriving at The Gow School, he completed his student teaching in the Buffalo Public Schools and Grand Island Central School District. He holds both his initial and professional certifications from the New York State Department of Education. In 2016, Mr. Dietz received The Gow School's Lowell L. Lundell Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Mr. Dietz grew-up in Western New York. He and his wife Karen are newlyweds as of August 2016, and they reside on campus in Rogers-Ivie House. In his free time, Mr. Dietz enjoys visiting historical sites. He especially is interested in the American colonial period and the Civil War.
