GO RAVENS!

The Gow team went to the neutral site field in South Buffalo to do battle with The Park School for bragging rights of the Independent Athletic Conference. The previous 2 meeting were split, both by just 1 goal. The game was played on the cold wet turf in a light rain. The entire 80 minutes of regulation was played with Gow having more scoring opportunities, but not putting the ball in the net. Strong defense by Matthew H. and JaZe'l T. ended the game at 0-0. Overtime brought continued dominance by Gow. About 9 minutes into the first overtime, Wit S. took a direct kick in the opponents half. It was trapped by striker Keifer M. who turned and took a quick shot to the bottom corner of the net to give the victory to the Ravens 1-0. Goalie Ruan V. earned a shutout.
