The Ravens squash team defeated Canisius in the semi-finals of the league and advanced to the High School league Championship match at Nichols School Thursday afternoon at 4:00pm. This is the first time Gow will compete for the league championship. It is also our last shot at the perennial powerhouse.

The Ravens got there by defeating Canisius yesterday afternoon on the Gow courts in convincing fashion 5-2. The players rebounded from the disappointing final match loss at the National tournament to redeem themselves at home.

Gow players Robert, John Ed., Kithsen, Toma, and George won their matches while team captain Walker and #6 player Oudou lost narrowly. Walker lost two games in extra points, but put up a fierce battle against a talented Canisius #1 player.
