Event Recap: The Ravens suffered a second successive home loss 2-0 to Cardinal O'Hara. It was a chippy game with a multitude of warnings to both sides about sliding from behind, grabbing jerseys, and going in with arms raised.
Gow had difficulty garnerning any enthusiasm in the first half, and surrending a goal did little to boost spirits. They picked up their intensity in the second half, but struggled with team work. The Ravens often had multiple players going after every 50-50 ball. When the ball emerged from the crowd, O'Hara had players in position to take control.
Some solid denfesive efforts from Connor S. and Patrick M. helped neutralize the opposition's best two players. Tom D-M. played some valuable minutes in the midfield to give others a rest. It wasn't enough, however, as O'Hara doubled their lead. Even the ref noted that Gow looked worn out and unfocused.
Next week the Ravens play two big games against CCA and Timon. |
