Gow opened their season with a convincing victory at The Park School.

The first half was one way traffic with the Ravens netting four times in the first 20 minutes. Senior Robert T-H headed home to open the scoring 3 minutes in, followed soon after by Sasha E from close range. Junior forward Bjorn T made plays all match long. His best pass came 25 minutes in when he split two defenders to send forward JT C in on goal. The keeper came out to challenge, and JT chipped into the far side-netting. Robert scored again before halftime, dribbling past the goalie and rolling the ball into the awaiting net.

The second half saw each team score once a piece. Sasha headed home a nice cross from Robert in the 65th minute. Park converted a penalty kick with 5 minutes to go, although keeper Patrick M guessed correctly and came close to making a big save. All in all, it was a satisfying performance. No chance to rest as Gow hosts St. Mary's tomorrow.
