Modified Lacrosse vs. Nardin
Event Type: Regular
Advantage:Away
Date: April 25, 2012
Result:Loss
Score:2-5
Event Recap:

Gow's Modified team hit the road to tangle with the Nardin Alligators. The Gators and the Ravens matched up fairly well, but Nardin was too strong at the face-off “X” for Gow's midfielders. Mike B., Connor P. and Zach S. had a tough time slowing down Nardin’s fast breaks which ultimately resulted in the Gator's five goals. To help even the score, midfielder Ethan H. posted his first career goal with a brilliant dodge past the Gators’ center defenseman. Raven players David A. and Sergei E. did an admirable job of keeping Nardin from scoring more than five points. Also, not enough can be said about defensive Captain Vaihbav N. and his tenacious game play during the match. Stone G. played his best game as a defensemen to date. He was backed-up by Brandon B., who has recently volunteered to replace an injured Karl J. Gow's second and final goal of the game was scored in the fourth quarter. Team Captain Cole A. passed the ball to attack-man Oleg C. who then assisted his fellow attacker Lucca H. This brought the final score to 2-5.
