Event Recap: The Ravens traveled to Cazenovia Park to meet the Notre Dame Angels on their home turf. Right away the Angels tested Ravens goaltender David A. by rattling off two quick points during the first quarter of the game. Midfielders Cole A., Lucca H., Oleg C., Justin B. and Mike B. gave a valiant effort; they ran constantly for the entire game with only one other line to replace them. Ethan H. gave Gow a boost of confidence when he picked up a loose ball, headed straight down the middle, and launched in a powerful bouncing ground shot for a goal. This was followed by a well placed shot from Sergei E. as he jumped into the midfield to give his fellow teammates a rest. Attack-men Justin B., Mike B., Connor P. and Zach S. all tried their best to penetrate the Notre Dame defense, but without avail. Gow's defense was without their veteran captain, Vaibhav N. who was suffering from an ankle injury. However, newcomer Tanner Z., along with Brandon B. and Stone G., stepped up and made Notre Dame pay for every shot they took.
