Zach M. became the first Tennis player in the history of The Gow School to reach the finals of the Monsignor Martin Tennis Championships. Unfortunately, Zach sprained his ankle in the middle of the second set of his semifinal match up 6-1, 3-1. He went on to finish the second set 6-1, asserting his dominance over the number one player from Park. Zach did his best in the final, but lack of movement hampered his performance. He finished in 2nd place. Zach showed the heart of a true champion, and he congratulated all of his opponents whether they won or lost. He finished the season with a 14-3 record (10th all-time for The Gow School Tennis team) including tournament play. His only losses were to two players from Nichols.

Varsity Captain Toma B. finished the season with a 12-3 record at singles. This moves him to 3rd place on Gow's all-time Tennis Singles History chart.
