Instructional Assistant

The Gow School is searching for a full-time Instructional Assistant to start for the 2019-2020 school year. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced self-starter, who is interested immersing in an independent school environment serving students with learning disabilities and related reading disorders such as dyslexia. This full-time position includes some non-academic responsibilities as well as living on campus in an apartment adjacent to a dormitory. We are a boarding school where we teach, coach, and live with our students as role models and mentors in class and within the nonacademic environment on campus. This fulfilling position offers an extremely low student teacher ratio in a professional environment. The Gow School has a distinct culture of success including a competitive compensation program for faculty and staff. Instructional Assistant

Buildings and Grounds Staff

The Gow School is searching for a Buildings and Grounds Staff member to contribute to all functions in the Buildings and Grounds Department and oversee the safety and operation of the entire campus. Self-motivation and quality work is required to complete day to day operations. Building and Grounds Staff

Organizational Skills Tutor

The Gow School is searching for a full-time Organizational Skills Tutor for the 2019-2020 school year. The position is considered a full time member of the Reconstructive Language Department faculty, and is therefore under the direction of the RL Department Chair. The tutor will schedule tutoring sessions with students in the following areas during the academic day and occasionally during evening study hall. The tutor will be responsible for creating a productive schedule and for planning instruction. Our academic week is Monday – Saturday. This full-time position includes some non-academic responsibilities as well as living on campus in an apartment adjacent to a dormitory. We are a boarding school where we teach, coach, and live with our students as role models and mentors in class and within the nonacademic environment on campus. Librarian

The Gow School is searching for a full-time Librarian for the 2019-2020 school year. The Librarian works with the faculty, students, and administration to develop a collection of materials and resources which support the school curriculum. The Librarian will assist in weekend duties, dormitory support, extracurricular activities including Executive Function Coaching, and assistive technology training. Our academic week is Monday – Saturday. This full-time position includes some non-academic responsibilities as well as living on campus in an apartment adjacent to a dormitory.
