Facts about The Gow School


The Gow School offers an accredited college preparatory curriculum with classes in Reconstructive Language, English, math, science, history, business, economics, fine and performing arts, health, computer science, and robotics. Classes meet six days per week.


The Gow School is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS). Gow's Reconstructive Language program is accredited by The International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and meets the International Dyslexia Association (IDA)'s Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading.



1,850 alumni from 50 states and 22 countries. Gow graduates are architects, artists, chefs, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, lawyers and even an Olympic athlete.

Summer Program

The Gow School Summer Program (GSSP) serves boys and girls ages 8-16. This five week program combines academic classes, traditional summer activities, and weekend trips.
