Biography

Mr. David Maier spent one year at The Gow School as a student and graduated in 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts & Science from DePaul University. He then went on to work as a substitute teacher and basketball coach at Will Carleton Academy in Hillsdale, Michigan.

In 2012, Mr. Maier joined The Gow School faculty as an Instructional Assistant, dorm parent, and coach. Currently, he teaches English 7, 8, and 9, and he coaches Crew and Modified Basketball. Mr. Maier lives on campus with his wife and their two children. He is an devoted sports fan, and he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his family.
