Biography

Mr. John D. Simms III is an alumnus of The Gow School. After graduating in 2002, he traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin to attend St. Norbert College. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a minor in Religion in 2007, and he returned to work in his hometown of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. In 2009, Mr. Simms enrolled in a Master’s Program for Elementary/Middle School education. He graduated from Aurora University in 2011 with his Master’s Degree.

Mr. John Simms instructs Reconstructive language at The Gow School. According to Mr. Simms, "It is wonderful to give back to the school that saved his life. I find it rewarding daily to teach young adults, and help them become the best version of themselves.

Mr. Simms lives on campus with his wife Elizabeth in Ellis house, they are expecting their first child in early April
