  • Head Coach

    Before arriving at The Gow School, Mr. Gerald Zeis spent 14 years as the technical manager of a hazardous waste company, Clean Harbors, where he specialized in poison gasses, reactive metals, and explosives. With his wealth of experience, Mr. Zeis serves as Gow’s primary chemistry teacher and instructs additional science classes as needed. Mr. Zeis is the Head Varsity Soccer coach.

    Mr. Zeis and his wife Cindy live off-campus with their two daughters. He enjoys volunteer work, soccer, and outdoor activities.

  • Assistant Coach

    Ms. Ashley Griffin grew up in Orchard Park, NY attending Daeman College where she received a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Studies with a specialization in Community Health Education and Promotion. At Daeman she was a member of the women’s soccer team for four years and was captain for her senior year. After graduating from Daeman Ms. Griffin accepted a Head Coach position at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. Prior to starting at The Gow School, Ms. Griffin worked as Membership Service Representative at the YMCA.

    One of Ms. Griffin’s top pirorities is community involvement working with organizations such as: Girls on the Run, Hunters Hope, and Making Strides Walk. Ms. Griffin is a dorm parent in Whitcomb Dormitory but often visits her family who live locally in Orchard Park, NY.
