Crew - Fall
Mr. John Lindahl began teaching mathematics at The Gow School in 2005. He presently teaches Algebra 2, and he previously has taught Developmental Mathematics, Alegbra 1, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.
Mr. Lindahl grew up in Jamestown, NY and graduated from Jamestown High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Secondary Education from Buffalo State College, a New York State Teaching Certification in Mathematics 7-12, and a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Maine. Mr. Lindahl has attended several conferences related to dyslexia and mathematics instruction, including The International Dyslexia Association Conference in Baltimore and the Anja S. Greer Conference on Mathematics and Technology at Phillips Exeter Academy. He has presented to local parents and educators, and to regional branches of The International Dyslexia Association on the use of technology and the instruction of mathematics. In addition, he was the recipient of The Gow School’s 2013 Lowell L. Lundell Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Lindahl is the Head Crew Coach and a dorm parent. In the past, he also coached Modified Soccer here at Gow. Mr. Lindahl lives in Rogers-Ivie House with his wife, Melissa, and their two daughters.
Miss. Meghan Mileham joined The Gow School in 2017 after graduating from Canisius College where she earned a degree in Communication Studies with concentration in Integrated Marketing. At Canisius Miss. Mileham was extremely involved in the Undergraduate Admissions serving as a tour guide and running the admissions Instagram account. Prior to coming to work at The Gow School, she worked in the admissions office of Nichols School. At Gow Miss Mileham is in charge of the website and social media accounts for the school and is the advisor to Student Council.
In her free time, Miss Mileham loves going out to eat with friends, cooking and baking as well as going to the beach. Miss Mileham is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Canisius College Golden Griffins.
