Academic Dress

• Khaki pants for males, khaki skirts for females
• Blue or white button down
• Navy blue blazer with the Gow seal
• Black or brown dress shoes
• Gow tie for male students
• Belt

Academic dress is the normal uniform at Gow. Worn by students Monday - Friday from about 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Dinner Dress

• Any color dress pants or skirt
• Any color button down or collared shirt
• Belt
• Dress Shoes
• Sweater

Dinner dress is worn for dinner and study hall Sunday - Friday. Dinner dress is also worn for Saturday classes

Assembly

All school assembly is held Monday through Friday at 12:05 p.m. Assembly is Mr. Rogers time to teach touching on valuable life lessons every week. This is also a great spot for announcements to be made for students, presentations, and student recognition. 

Tutorial

Tutorial is held Monday - Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the end of the academic day. Tutorial is similar to college office hours, as students can go see a teacher if they are struggling in class, have a question on the homework, or just need a little extra help. 

Teachers are also able to sign students up for tutorial to ensure they are using their time wisely. 

Reconstructive Language

Reconstructive Language is Gow's in house remediation program, it is our meat and potatoes of the school. 

All students take Reconstructive Language every year but it is often time just referred to as RL.

Executive Function Coaching

Executive Function Coaching is offered for students who need a little help staying organized, accountability, and self advocacy. 

Executive Function Coaching is a short term program with long term success and is more commonly referred to as EFC
