Make a Gift of StockStock Donations offer a tremendous tax incentive. As the donor, you will receive credit for the full value of the stock and avoid paying capital gains tax. Stock Transfer Wiring Instructions are available upon request. Contact the Development Office at 716.687.2074 or speak with your financial planner.
Named FundsA Named Fund is a meaningful way to honor or recognize you, your family, or someone special who has had an impact on your life. As part of the Gow endowment, a Named Fund must reach a minimum value of $50,000 over five years. A donor can make donations to augment their Named Fund at any time. Named funds can be unrestricted (so that Gow can use them where needed most), or designated for a purpose such as a scholarship, for a specific department, or area of interest. Many donors choose to include Named Funds in their estate plan. This planning provides an opportunity for future generations to make gifts to honor their loved one and add to the Fund. Named Funds are invested as part of Gow's permanent endowment which is important to provide financial security for the school’s future. Because an endowment gift will be invested permanently, it serves as a tribute to the donor for generations to come. |
