Congratulations to the Varsity Soccer team who beat The Park School in double overtime! Go Ravens

Gow hosted The Park School on October 10th. A rematch of a game two weeks ago that left a bad taste in the mouth of Gow. The first game was dominated by Gow, but the scoreboard read otherwise. The final of that game was 1-0 Park. This time around, a win for Gow means a share of the banner, a tie or loss meant second place in the league. The game started evenly fought. Gow caught a break on a Park handball in the box that was going to stop a goal. The penalty kick was taken by Kiefer M. scoring into the right side of the net. Park evened the score, and took the lead 2-1 by halftime. Second half brought a must win mentality to the team. A second tally was added by Keifer M. Despite Gow's best effort, regulation ended in a tie.

The first overtime was dominated by Gow. They played for the win, Park was playing for a tie. Gow had a multitude of shots, but it was to no avail. The second and final overtime started with the same dominance. Two minutes into the session, a goal was scored by Jared S. to bring the banner back to Gow.
