International Students

three students in the dining hall

Students from across the globe add to The Gow School’s diverse community of united LD students. Approximately one-third of our students are international. In addition to Gow's language remediation, some students for whom English was not their first language benefit from additional support for English Language Learners (ELL).

The Gow School application process for international students is similar to that for domestic students, but there are two additional requirements before matriculation. Those who are not U.S. citizens need a student visa, available from an embassy after tuition is paid and the school issues an I-20. In addition, Gow requires that international students carry health insurance, often available through parents' policies or through ISM Insurance.
