    Support and Safety

Your child is known by many caring adults, every day. That is how we keep students supported, healthy, and safe.

At Gow, the teacher who works with your child in class is often the same adult who coaches them in the afternoon and checks in on them in the dorm at night. Our faculty are true "triple threats": they teach, coach, and live in the dorms.

    Academic Support

Every student is matched with an academic advisor before arriving on campus, so there is a familiar adult from the first day.

Parents don't have to wait for report cards. Mid-marking-period reports show how your child is doing while there is still time to adjust.

    Mental Health and Wellness

Gow has experienced health professionals on staff to support our students through their Gow journeys.

The Health Office cares for day-to-day health needs, including morning medication at a satellite health office during breakfast.

    Campus Safety

    • A network of 75 cameras across campus.
    • An all-school alert system that reaches everyone at once.
    • Faculty trained in safety procedures.
    • A close working relationship with the East Aurora Police Department.
    • Three faculty members serve in the South Wales Fire Company, including our Director of Buildings and Grounds, who is the Fire Chief.
