Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Gow School Summer Program the right fit?
GSSP is designed for students ages 8 to 16 who are bright and capable but may struggle in traditional classrooms. Whether a student has a diagnosed learning difference or simply needs a different approach, the program provides structured instruction, small classes, and a supportive community where students can build skills and confidence.
How long will students be at camp?
GSSP is a five-week program. Campers attend for the full session to ensure consistency, growth, and the full experience.
Can I visit during the program?
Yes. About halfway through the summer, we host a visiting weekend for family members. You will have the chance to meet teachers, observe classes and activities, and see students' progress firsthand.
Do students have to attend as an overnight camper?
No. We offer academic day (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and full day (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) options. Families can choose the schedule that works best for their camper.
