    Working at the Summer Program

Spend a summer helping children who learn differently find their footing. We hire teachers and counselors each year.

Summer staff at Gow do meaningful work. You will teach, coach, and live alongside students ages 8 to 16 with language-based learning differences, and watch them grow over five weeks.

    Teaching

Teachers lead small morning classes in subjects like The Gow Method, writing, math, and the arts. To apply, send a resume and cover letter to Daniel Dietz, Academic Director, at [email protected].

    Counselors

Counselors live in the dorms with students and are with them through the day, from activities to lights out. Counselors need a college diploma or at least one year of college. Apply through the online summer employment application.
